Completes
Testing
at
USA
International
Speedway
Smyrna,
GA,
March 8,
2007:
TEAM
GLOCK
Racing
tested
two
of
their
ARCA
cars
(chassis
008
and
chassis
030)
at
the
USA
International
Speedway
on
March
1,
2007.
In
spite
of a
constant
threat
of
rain
throughout
the
day,
the
team
was
able
to
run
about
150
laps
on
the
Lakeland
short-track.
Both
cars
used
for
the
test
were
newly
built
and
performed
very
well.
Data
acquisition
was
used
to
help
“dial
in”
both
car
and
driver
and
the
test
proved
that
we
have
a
competitive
package
for
the
Lakeland
event.
“Lap times were very competitive in comparison to other teams that were testing,” Jeff Spraker, TEAM GLOCK Racing car owner and crew chief stated. “Michelle did a great job at Lakeland.
Her
times
and
feedback
were
excellent.”
The
Lakeland
test
on
March
1st
was
the
first
attempt
at
the
ARCA
series
with
TEAM
GLOCK
driver
Michelle
Theriault.
“This
was
our
first
outing
at
Lakeland
in
an ARCA
car
and
proved
somewhat
of a
challenge;
however,
our
results
were
better
than
we
expected.
If
her
test
is
any
indication
of
her
results,
the
March
24th
event
should
be a
‘home
run’
for
TEAM
GLOCK
racing,”
Spraker
indicated.
“TEAM
GLOCK
is
very
excited
about
being
a
part
of
the
ARCA/REMAX
series.
Michelle
has
a
lot
of
talent
and
this
is
one
of
her
favorite
racetracks.
We
are
looking
forward
to
our
debut
at
the
USA
International
Speedway,”
stated
Craig
Dutton,
Director
of
Sales
at
GLOCK,
Inc.
TEAM
GLOCK’s
primary
car
for
the
Lakeland
race
will
be
chassis
008.
This
is a
2007
Monte
Carlo
with
a
Wagner
engine.
